Pike Creek 10 Year Old is a top notch Canadian whisky which gets treated to a finishing period in rum barrels before bottling (previously Pike Creek was finished in Port casks, though the producer changed it to rum barrels at some point in the 2010s). Excellent stuff, and great value-for-money, too.
Honey'd raisins and pecans, with a spicy little kick of herbaceous rye hiding in there.
Old-fashioned cola cubes, cardamom heat, caramel and a clear suggestion of good rum.
Lasting notes of brown sugar and dried oak.

Stunning flavour, smooth, even to people who don't drink whisky (as I found to my cost). Will soon be replacing this fast disappearing bottle..... and angels they ain't, I'm sharing it with! Five star
I'm not sure what this drink is. It's advertised as whiskey but tastes more like some strange rum infused cocktail drink. It's not awful, and is drinkable, but there is zero whiskey / bourbon flavour at all. just sweet rum and a bit of a rye flavour. Nothing. No spice, no peat, no citrus. So if you're expecting whiskey then you'll be disappointed.
Well... This "Is" a superurb whiskey. How the hell other more well known brands stay around when this whisky is around baffles me. I go through a bottle a month & look forward to every drop.. The aroma/taste is just wonderful... Send me some discount so I can get more?
It's nice...if you like a grain of barley in your rum.
fantastic for its price would get on regular basis.
