Penderyn The Village (Icons of Wales)
Penderyn The Village is finished in Amarone casks and released to mark the 2026 centenary of Portmeirion. The surreal Italianate village on the North Wales coast lends more than a name here. This is a whisky that leans into elegance, colour and gentle indulgence, with Penderyn’s clean, fruity house style picking up richness and structure from the wine finish.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Ripe red fruit, honeyed malt and soft oak spice, followed by vanilla, cocoa powder and a light floral lift.
Palate
Smooth and rounded with red berries, plum compote, gentle baking spice and a mellow, honeyed sweetness.
Finish
Candied fruit, spiced oak and a subtle grip of grape tannin lingering at the edges.
