Not really for me. Plenty better on the market that's for sure. Lacked flavour, lacked depth, finish. Not enough going on for me
I absolutely love this Sherry Wood Penderyn Whisky. Its soft and rounded, lovely flavour and a cracking finish. What I love the most is that its not too fiery. Too moreish for words.
Somewhat underwhelming, the nose promises great things but unfortunately this whisky offers very little flavour on the tongue. The finish has the usual fiery Penderyn quality.
I import this to US regularly. Wish there was more available. This bottle helps me in the snowy winter with a sweet fruity finish but good whiskey notes.
I had a tipple of this whisky, and by far it's now one of my favourites. It's so smooth, sweet smelling and you do get the slight taste of Sherry. This whisky rolls off the tongue in terms of flavour. It's all provided in steps rather than all at once. One to drink on it's own with chilled whisky stones.
