Penderyn Bad Wolf (Icons of Wales)
At 56.5% ABV, this 10-year-old single malt from Penderyn’s Icons of Wales series celebrates a decade of storytelling excellence from Cardiff’s Bad Wolf Studios. It was fully matured in Tawny Port pipes that previously held port for around 60 years!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange blossom and soft rose petals, then fruitcake takes hold. Red and golden raisins, fig jam, and fresh red berries.
Palate
Sweet and saline notes dance together, revealing layers of toffee, marzipan, and bittersweet marmalade.
Finish
Dried apricot and salted caramel lingering under a dusting of nutmeg.
