Penderyn with Glasses

A half bottle of Welsh single malt, matured in bourbon barrels and finished in Madeira casks. This comes with two Penderyn branded whisky tasting glasses, made by Glencairn.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.

Palate Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.

Finish Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Drinkable without being outstanding
Definitely a sweet whisky with a distinct vanilla nose. It’s thicker than I’m used to, almost like a liqueur. Not the longest of finishes, but drinkable.

Brilliant tipple
This is mighty fine stuff - I get a delightful peach aftertaste in the back of my throat and that joyous burn you only get from the good stuff. This may be the finest I've tasted in the Penderyn range. This stuff ain't gonna last long before I need another bottle. Wonderful.

Five star shoul be more
I have been drinking Penderyn for number of years now, I normally get it as a requested gift for Christmas or birthdays etc, it is by far the very best of all the single malts where ever they come from, it is a truly lovely single malt the very supreme whiskey drink of the lot
