A new 75cl bottle and label (which features a rather intense looking fellow with an intimidating beard) for Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year old, bottled at 107 proof. It's still an awesome bourbon, packed with toasty notes of coffee bean, hot caramel and subtle oak.
Sweet and soft, with notes of wheat, corn and custard. Caramel, candy floss and dried fruits.
Rich and thick with notes of caramel, vanilla, dates, walnuts, coffee beans and soft oak. Very buttery and incredibly smooth.
Long and spicy with notes of gingernut biscuit and golden syrup on the tail.

I’ve been lucky enough to try the whole old rip and pappy range and to be honest, this is a close if not equal winner with the 15. Absolutely world class whisk(e)y.
Really incredible stuff
Picked up a bottle at a local release, not as great as the legendary Pappy bottle, but still flew off the shelves just as quickly.
