Old Perth Bodega
Old Perth’s Bodega release celebrates the time-honoured sherry bodegas of Spain with a triple sherry cask influence: oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Palo Cortado. Matured in part in Old Perth’s remarkable 70-year-old solera casks, this limited-edition blended malt is non-chill filtered, natural in colour, and bottled at 52.4% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Spiced oak and dark treacle, lifted by bright orange zest, with layers of dried figs, raisins, and roasted nuts.
Palate
Chewy treacle tart, almonds, and hazelnuts, balanced with silky sweetness, cinnamon warmth, and deep sherry richness.
Finish
Lingering and complex, with nutty praline, candied citrus, and warming oak spice.
