From Morrison & Mackay comes this well-aged edition of Old Perth. This 24 Year Old blended malt brings together whisky from Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes, Bunnahabhain and Tamdhu, all of which were distilled back in 1994. A limited run of 630 bottles were released, drawn from a single cask and bottled at 45.1% ABV.
Smooth hazelnut praline, with caramelised nuts and chocolate digestives.
Floral honey and fragrant smoke, with polished wood and sherried fruit.
Chocolate orange and mint chocolate.

Not an aficionado of scotch, but when my daughter is attending university in Scotland, the least she could do is bring her dad home some really good scotch. This is not peaty at all, but very good, smooth and flavorful! (Going over in fall, I'll learn to acquire the peaty flavor.)
