Old Perth 21 Year Old 1996
A 21 year old blended malt from Morrison & MacKay's Old Perth range, drawn from a single cask. Though uncertain of the distillery origins of this whisky, we reckon it ought to be a handsome and good value-for-money drop. Only 335 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate digestives and Jammie Dodgers, with a hint of tobacco developing the longer it's in the glass.
Palate
Subtle smoke drifts out from behind layers of chewy raisin and almond sweetness.
Finish
Ka-pow! A hearty whack of nutmeg and black pepper finishes off this whisky.
