Another release of Morrison & MacKay's Old Perth blended malt, which was named in honour of Perth, Scotland and its historical connection to whisky. This fascinating vintage 2004 blended malt features Macallan & Highland Park malt whiskies that were matured in a single sherry cask. It was bottled with an outturn of 675 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral smoke, brown sugar and fresh apple blossom are followed by black cherry, plump raisins and fruitcake notes.

Palate: On the palate there's drying Christmas-y spices, toasted barley and stewed fruits, with sweet vanilla, marmalade and golden syrup after some time.

Finish: A sweet and long finish is percolated by a distinct forest floor richness.
