Unfortunately, we can't ship Islay 8 Year Old 2008 - North Star Spirits to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
Mystery Islay single malt here, independently bottled by North Star Spirits. This was aged for 8 years and finished in a pair of Sherry octave casks before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 230 bottles.
Nose: Earthy/moss-y at first, with hints of coastal smoke and chocolate mousse.
Palate: Fruitier on the palate, with dried fruit and apricot. Sweet peat notes develop.
Finish: Touches of charred oak last.
