Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is crisp with excellent depth and clarity. Notes of gentle smoke rise from a lit bundle of hay. A touch of grist and drying grass, a little citric tang provides veritable lucidity. A touch of malt and barley rises. The palate is beautifully balanced with notes of freshly cut grass, a touch of fennel and parsley, blossom and rubbed petals with lemon juice and gentle sugars. The wood develops with a very faint nod towards salinity. The palate is long with the oak rising to proffer a touch of desiccation.
