This is a single cask of the North British grain whisky bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor. Grain whiskies are made using un-malted grain which results in a sweeter flavour to malt whisky.
A Bourbon like character of caramel and vanilla with a little spice on the nose leads to a sweet and syrupy flavour with notes of maple syrup and white pepper. The finish is long with notes of toffee and nutmeg and a little black pepper.
