Another thing happening in 1988 was the distillation of this glorious single grain whisky at the North British Distillery! Matured for 32 years, this whisky spent its time resting in bourbon casks, followed by a generous four years finishing in American rye casks. Finally, the whisky was bottled up by the folks at Murray McDavid for its Mission Gold series. A total of 405 bottles of this delicious dram were released. Hit it!
