Description
From North British Distillery, this is a 31-year-old Lowland single grain Scotch whisky. The 1991 vintage whisky was matured in a single refill oloroso sherry butt (272183) before it was bottled in April 2023 by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection at 54.3% ABV. There are just 415 numbered bottles of this one.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Blackberry gums, candied almonds, roasted coffee, and cinnamon.
Palate
Fruitcake, baking spices, milk chocolate, candied orange, and bittersweet dark chocolate.
Finish
The finish is medium-long with toasted oak, salted caramel ice cream, and dried fruit.
