Superb single grain Scotch from the North British Distillery, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.! Matured for 29 years in a single bourbon cask between 1992 and 2022, the glorious grain whisky has had plenty of time to intertwine with rich, buttery vanilla notes from the cask. A total of 390 bottles were released for The Cooper's Choice collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Foam bananas and vanilla sorbet, wisps of charred oak follow fresh, flaky pastry.
Palate
Waxed peels and buttered popcorn bring a silky, oily texture with soft caramel and gentle spice building.
Finish
Chocolate coated Brazil nuts, a hint of flaked coconut with more oaken vanilla in tow.
