Single grain Scotch whisky from the North British distillery, aged for 28 years before Murray McDavid bottled it up for their Select Grain range. This was distilled in 1988 and aged in bourbon hogsheads, then finished in casks that previously held Koval Rye (a very cool finishing period!) before being bottled in 2017.
Menthol, golden syrup and pancakes, slightly fruity at points - think cherry and dried pineapple.
Caramelised dates, brown sugar, maple syrup, oatmeal and honey.
Medium length, with a hint of clove.
