North British 27YO #10938 Bottling Note

A well aged grain whisky from the North British distillery in Edinburgh. After distillation in July 1988, the 27 year maturation took place in a single refill barrel, with an outturn of 168 bottles at 50.2% abv in September 2015.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Bon-bons, lemonade, cream soda, honey and a touch of red chilli.

Palate: Candied peels, more sweeties (Gold Bears), golden syrup and vanilla.

Finish: More honeyed and rounded.
