This single grain Scotch from the North British distillery spent 14 years maturing between 2009 and 2023, including a finish in a Koval rye whisky cask. A total of 886 bottles now join the indie Select Grain series from Murray McDavid.
Creamy grain, vanilla custard, buttery pastry, and rich oak char.
Juicy notes of mandarin and citrus join trickles of runny caramel, with a touch of rye and oaken spice arriving in time.
Unctuous layers of oily grain, fruit salad, herbal honey, and a touch of pepper.
