Part of Murray McDavid's Select Grain series, this North British was aged for 10 years before being bottled. It's a single grain Scotch whisky that was matured for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and then received a two year finish in ex-bourbon casks from the Koval Distillery. 325 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cream soda and vanilla. A touch of oak resin underneath.
Palate
More creamy vanilla, slightly spiced with clove and pepper, gentle citrus developing on the mid-palate.
Finish
A gentle, sweet finish.
