Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Complex and rich with notes of toasted hazelnuts, prunes, coffee beans and light smoke. A little parsley, chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Quite fruity too; notes of pear and apple develop.
Palate
Citrus, cured ham and gentle smoke. A little strawberry jam and oak. Toasted brioche.
Finish
Supple and complex finish, with plenty of prune and black pepper.
