North British 33 Year Old 1978 - Rare Auld (Duncan Taylor)
This 33 year old single cask single grain whisky was distilled at North British in August of 1978 and it was aged in a single cask before bottling by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet, creamy nose with orange juice, tropical fruits and freshly mown grass. Some coconut, custard and parsley.
Palate
Sweet and juicy with almonds, orange and apple, a little coffee bean and honey too.
Finish
Good length with rhubarb crumble and nutmeg.
