This 33 year old single cask single grain whisky was distilled at North British in August of 1978 and it was aged in a single cask before bottling by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range.
Nose: Sweet, creamy nose with orange juice, tropical fruits and freshly mown grass. Some coconut, custard and parsley.
Palate: Sweet and juicy with almonds, orange and apple, a little coffee bean and honey too.
Finish: Good length with rhubarb crumble and nutmeg.
