While most distilleries use their Coffey stills only to make grain whisky, Nikka use the two Coffey stills at their Miyagikyo distillery to create malt whisky too. The Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky was introduced to their selection of expressions in 2014. Plenty rich and flavoursome, it's a wonderful addition to Nikka's fantastic range.

A friend brought some over for Christmas dinner and I fell in love! It's a little sweet but not in a bad way. Great smooth flavor
This stuff isn't horrible but it isn't what I would call great
It reminds you of some coffee liqueur you made your date lovelier, but it tastes far more refined. I usually go for Islay single malt, but this one moved me into a different direction, or, destination. But the ultimate destination stays the same: Helen Merrill with Clifford Brown. A fabulous whiskey, a fabulous night of music.
The biggest problem with this whisky is running out of it. Fabulous stuff
Not unpleasant but not particularly exciting. No stand out flavours. Enyoyed the glass I tried would drink it again if it was going bit wouldn't pay for it. Too much taste of raw alcohol aswel....meh
