New Riff Single Barrel Rye
Single barrel straight rye whiskey from the superb New Riff in Kentucky! Boasting a 100% rye mashbill, made up of 95% rye and 5% malted rye, the whiskey was matured in 200-litre toasted and charred new oak barrels before being bottled up at cask strength. Fans of high rye content whiskey will be understandably excited to sip this, and it'll make a mean Manhattan.

Nose
Spiced orange, honeyed pastry, black pepper crisps.
Palate
Plenty of spice with warming pepper, prickles of ginger, and orange oil, followed by toasty notes of oak char and seeded rye bread.
Finish
Rich wafts of toasted oak, set honey, and lingering rye spiciness.
