New Riff make some simply brilliant bourbon over in Kentucky, USA, and this time, the team has bottled up a barrel exclusively for Master of Malt! As big bourbon fans, it's safe to say we're more than a smidge excited about that. Drawn from one single barrel, and bottled up at cask strength (a hefty 57.1% ABV), this expression is packed to the rafters with deliciousness, so we highly recommend snapping up a bottle before they're all gone!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Brown sugar, walnut oil, buttered corn with a dusting of cumin.
Palate
More butter, more corn, more flavoursome spices, and dollop of extra thick double cream for good measure.
Finish
Waves of toffee and honey, with underlying oak spiciness and a hint of mint leaf.
