New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon (51.4%)
Brilliant single barrel bourbon from the New Riff team in Kentucky! These expressions feature a high rye content, and they're bottled without chill filtration at rather robust ABVs – this one, for example, was bottled up at 51.4% ABV. Terrific stuff, packing hefty waves of chocolate-dipped fruit, toasted sugar, softly smoky oak, and more.

Nose
Hazelnut, rye bread with Nutella, cask char, apricot, and peach.
Palate
Buttery biscuits, cinnamon, BBQ pineapple, Brazil nuts, clove, blackcurrant.
Finish
Another helping of cask char arrives on the finish, balanced by dates and macadamia nuts.
