Never Say Die Barrel Strength Whiskey (Barrel No. 4)
Batch number four of Never Say Die, a Kentucky straight bourbon that was shipped to England to mature. This cask strength whiskey is made up of a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. Coming out at 61.1%, only 226 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon curd, with oak char, and warm baking spices.
Palate
Black pepper, nutmeg, allspice, with a good helping of caramel.
Finish
Peppery spice lingers along with honeycomb.
