Nc'nean Whisky Gift Tube

Produced from organic Scottish barley, this single malt begins with a gentle fermentation and distillation at the verified net zero Nc'nean distillery. The whisky is then filled into a combo of red wine and American whiskey barrels, bolstered by a smaller portion of sherry casks to impart an impressively rich body with plenty of fruity sweetness. The eye-catching bottle is made entirely from recycled glass and the gift tube its presented in is fully recyclable, again reducing the footprint of this stunning single malt. Great stuff all round we must say!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Barley sugar sweeties and orange oil lead the way, with notes of apricot jam and summer berries joining. Biscuity malt rests beneath, with a touch of vanilla.

Palate Tangy tropical fruits aplenty here, with charred pineapple and drizzles of honey. Vanilla takes the lead bringing notes of creamy fudge, with hints of ginger and stewed berries resting beneath.

Finish Dark chocolate, candied orange, buttered shortbread, and toasted, oaken spice.

One of a kind from this Scottish area which already produces lovely spirits from Tobermory to Aran. Organic, smooth and full of aromas and flavours without being too peaty or smoky. One to watch ! And taste :)

Smooth and fruity
A beautiful whisky that's wonderfully smooth even at the 46% abv, wonderful flavours of dried fruit and very nicely presented.

I would buy this again
I really enjoyed this malt, not at all peaty I prefer the Mainland to Islay.
This is very smooth and easily drunk.
It was a very good price and the beeswax candles were a bonus

A really enjoyable tipple.
I settled down this evening to watch some World Cup football with my first ever glass of Nc'Nean single malt. I have to say it exuded wonderful flavours to the nose and palette and slipped down very well indeed.

An enjoyable dram worth a taste.
Beautifully presented and very very tasty. A little harsh on the finish but add a drop of water or some ice and this becomes a Dram to savour. Will definitely be getting more.

Very nice!
This is a very fine example of what will be the result when somebody decides to have some serious "fun" with the casks! Let it rest in the glass - even longer than you first thought - and your opinion of Nn'nean Whisky gets better and better.

Light with vibrant complex flavors.
This is a lovely easy to drink single malt if you are trying it for the first time like I did. Fresh and complex and the balance of sweetness and aroma is just right.

Corker of an organic single malt. Keep up the great work.
Hats off to Nc'nean for producing this corker. Tasted batch 01 as part of a subscription and had to buy a bottle of the 2nd batch.
