This is the 12th release from indie bottler The Heart Cut, and its first Scotch whisky bottling! Hailing from the organic, independent Nc'nean distillery on Scotland's West Coast, this single malt spent four years maturing between 2020 and 2024, beginning in a bourbon barrel, and finishing in a Madeira cask. A release of 391 bottles, without added colour or chill filtration.
Zesty, sweet notes of candied lemons and juicy, tropical fruits, with oaken vanilla nestling beneath.
Those vibrant fruit notes shine, with dried mango and papaya leading the way, followed by Malted Milk biscuits and hints of toffee ice cream.
Plump sultanas, creamy stone fruits, and dried berries, backed by earthy notes of roasted nuts, and fresh, zesty lemon.
