Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

I have to admit that until 6 years ago I always drank 'Famous Grouse' until I was introduced to 'Monkey Shoulder' however, recently I bought my first bottle of 'Naked Grouse' and was pleasantly surprised at its smooth texture and taste, which makes it a drink that demands you have at least two drams (large). Now it is a permanent part of my blended scotch collection.
This is such a nice whisky! Very similar I find to Monkeys shoulder. Very smooth and enjoyed best over ice, very easy to have a few as it goes down so well! Definitely recommend
Really prominent raspberry jam flavour. I'd pass on dessert for a glass of this any day of the week. Definitely added to my list of favourite list.
I'm a single malt drinker, but this blend of malts has blown me away for the price. So full of flavour big round and full of taste.
A sort of plain Jane of blended malt-pleasant but not outstanding. Reasonably smooth for the price and very drinkable as an inexpensive everyday drink. Blend is well balanced-a hallmark of Famous Grouse. Sherry hints and a mix of taste I could not identify. I love Macallans but I can't place this anywhere near a Macallan.
