Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

A little too sweet for me, it has an unnatural toffee / caramel taste to it.... not good enough to drink on its own for me not really a whisky drinkers whisky!
Wow. This is an excellent scotch for its price. Retails at only €27 in Malta and worth every cent. I don't find the smokey after taste but will keep looking for it. Interesting colour too. Well done to the distillery.
Despite browsing the net and buying a wide range of well known single malts, I keep coming back to this as it is just so good. Never mind what the nay-sayers write, just because it's a blend from a large producer doesn't mean that it isn't great. Not a whisky for label fanciers, but for anyone wanting good whisky for under £40 this excellent.
Good enough stuff for the price...nice and oily too. We get it at 43 percent in SA which probably helps a bit. Will buy it again. Mr Minus 10 star rating must have been having a very bad day.
This punches way above its weight! Even at double the price, this would still be a quality buy. Very smooth with a sweet nature and little smokiness. Cool bottle to.
