Young & Old 7 Year Old 2011 - Crafted Blend (Murray McDavid)
A blend of 50% malt and 50% grain whisky for Murray McDavid's Crafted Blend series, with seven year old peated malts alongside older North British grain whisky. Within the blend you'll find Caol Ila rested in an Oloroso hogshead, along with Peatside matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask and North British grain whisky.

Nose
Black treacle and peat, creating a sweet smoky aroma.
Palate
Barbecued fruit and more smoky peat.
Finish
A long, sweet finish.
