Peatside 7yo 2011 Bottling Note

From a limited release of 848 bottles, this seven year old peaty blended malt Scotch whisky was matured in a bourbon hogshead and finished for two years in first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It was bottled for The Vatting range by Murray McDavid at 46% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Hints of smoked fish and spiced sweet fruits.

Palate: Fruity and oaky with whisps of smoke.

Finish: A sweet, lingering finish.
