Peatside 5 Year Old 2011 - The Vatting (Murray McDavid)
A youthful vatting of whiskies from a heady combo of bourbon hogshead and first-fill Madeira barrels. This blended malt was bottled for The Vatting range by Murray McDavid at 46% ABV, with natural colour, no chill-filtration and a peaty persuasion.

Nose
Tart raspberry and rhubarb crumble rise through ashy oak char.
Palate
Sweet cereals, sliced apple and peaches blend with fresh basil and bonfire embers.
Finish
Cigar leaf and wet earth linger.
