This magnificent offering from indie bottler Murray McDavid will certainly have the Islay whisky fans drooling. It's a blend of two single malts from Islay titans Bowmore and Laphroaig, allowed to marry for a over 30 years in a sherry butt. This edition was treated to a further maturation in a host of oloroso sherry hogsheads, yielding a total of 626 bottles for Murray McDavid's Mission Gold collection in 2023.
