There's a rather splendid combination of cask influences at work in this venerable blended malt from Murray McDavid. La Girafe Chic was distilled in 1997 and bottled after 28 years for the independent bottler's Mission Gold collection, having been treated to maturation in Margaux red wine and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Bottled in 2026 at 52.9% ABV, with 573 bottles released.
