Juniper Hill 6 Year Old 2015 - Mystery Malt (Murray McDavid)
From a secret Highland distillery comes this Juniper Hill release, part of Murray McDavid's Mystery Malt series. We do know that the distillery is close to the River Findhorn, and that the whisky itself was filled straight into first-fill European oak barolo Italian wine casks. After seven years, 1,093 bottles were released.

Nose
Toffee apple, honey on toast, and spiced fruit scones.
Palate
Oily malt, cherry jam, melted brown sugar.
Finish
Dry oak spices, plump raisin, and toasted almond.
