A youthful release in Murray McDavid's Cult of Islay series, this one is an eight-year-old blend of Scotch whiskies, with peated Islay single malt matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads and hogsheads which previously held yet more Islay whisky! The limited release saw an outturn of 1,428 bottles at 46% ABV.
Coastal smoke, fresh strawberry, and maple syrup.
Flamed orange peel, savoury smoke, caramelised apple, and cinnamon sugar.
Oily peat smoke and warming oak.
