Description

This delight from Mossburn joins its Cask Collaboration Series. It's a Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky that began its 12-year maturation in bourbon casks before it was treated to a finish in Calvados casks from historic French producer Domaine Dupont! Bottled at a hearty 57.2% ABV, it boasts sweet notes of floral honey and biscuity malt, backed by layers of warming spice and baked apples.

Nose

Floral honey, sweet cooked apples, oaken vanilla, and a touch of woody spice.

Palate

Delicate notes of biscuity malt and gingersnaps, with sweetly spiced baked apple notes nestling in the depths.

Finish

Roasted nuts, apple cake, a touch of heather, and peppery warmth.
