The clever folks at Denmark's Mosgaard Whisky combined the wood from both Ruby and Tawny Port casks to build their own special casks to mature this whisky. Bursting with rich, dark, jammy fruit character, their craftsmanship certainly paid off with this tasty treat!
Fruity wine, dark coffee, roasted almonds, and baking spices.
Jammy, with drying grapes and dark plums, crossed with a nutty bitterness and aromatic cinnamon spice.
Dark berries and cherries with bold, roasted malt, burnt caramel, and woody spice.
One of my first off-shore whiskys. Bought from recommendations, it’s a back of the cupboard dram for special occasions. Just finished cask 3 after 18 months and now impatiently awaiting cask 4.
