A glorious sherried single malt from Mosgaard in Denmark. This whisky was finished in 50-litre casks, built from ex-Oloroso sherry casks! The rich Oloroso soaked oak has imparted a beautifully complex, fruity, sweet character to this lovely little sipper.
Toasted cereal with honey, sherried fruit cake, and roasted barley.
Toffee apples, poached pears, and juicy stone fruits combine with dried sultanas, figs, and dates. Plenty of robust, malt character comes through, with a warming, oaky spice.
Caramel sweetness continues, with wafts of citrus, almonds, and lingering spice.
