Mortlach 8 Year Old 2010 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
From the Strictly Limited indie bottling range comes a single cask Mortlch single malt. It was distilled in 2010 and left to age in a single sherry butt for 8 years, until Càrn Mòr bottled it up in 2018. Only 328 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Flaky pastry and sawdust. Blueberry muffin, cinnamon stick and a touch of salted butter.
Palate
Orange zest, red-chilli chocolate, a hint of eucalyptus, Christmas cake.
Finish
Medium length, with toasted coconut and more blueberry (now in jam form).
