Muscular Mortlach matured in a first fill bourbon cask! The outturn was 292 bottles at 50.4% abv, a common bottling strength for Murray McDavid's Mission Gold range.
Vanilla and toasty spices, orange blossom and nougat.
Caramel brittle, rich barley and lavender honey.
Fragrant oak.
