Description
The Beast of Dufftown, bottled by your pals at Master of Malt! A 20 year old Mortlach single malt, independently bottled by our very own hands as part of our Single Cask Series. This fabulous Speysider was distilled in June 1997 and left to mature in a bourbon hogshead until September 2017, when it was bottled at cask strength with no chill-filtration or additional colours.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery, honeyed pastry, oaky vanilla and toasted almonds.
Palate
Vanilla pod, caramelised tropical fruit and brown sugar in support. A pinch of red chilli pepper heat.
Finish
Slightly spiced vanilla tones and toasted cedar.
