Nose: Oodles of apples and pears, followed by bourbon-y cask char and creamy vanilla. Filo pastry and rhubarb crumble.
Palate: White grape, more cooked apple (now with a few cheeky blackberries thrown in too). Baking spices and anise. Slightly floral malt.
Finish: Sugary jam doughnuts, spiced pear, white pepper and lasting vanilla.
