Cask-strength Mortlach, distilled in May 1993. This was aged for 18 years in cask 4463 before bottling at natural cask strength by Duncan Taylor. A release of 519 numbered bottles.
Nose: Soft smoke and thick malt, milk chocolate, oak and citrus zest. Nutty and aromatic.
Palate: Toffee and lavender, quite floral with sweet spices, caramel and stewed fruits.
Finish: Good length, spiced and rounded.
