Bourbon
An independent bottling of Mortlach single malt distilled in 1999 and matured in two bourbon barrels before being bottled for the Càrn Mòr range. The outturn was 520 bottles.
Floral with barley sugar and mixed berries.
Victoria sponge, honey, nutmeg and malt.
Creamy and gently spiced.
Not much to say about this except it was probably the nicest whisky I've drank. I wish I bought two bottles though.
