Single Malt
Scotland

An old school bottle of 15-year-old single malt from Mortlach, aged in first fill and refill sherry casks before it was independently released by Gordon and MacPhail.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Nice and very long finish : if you like this feeling on whiskies, try this one ! This quality bottling is a good value for the price.
I bought this at the same time as Glen Garioch 12-year. I preferred the Glen Garioch initially, but this keeps growing on me. Re-read the Tasting Notes by the Chaps at the Master of Malt. Spot on. I'm a US consumer; for $65 US, this is a bargain.
I have a good selecton of speyside malts some less some more expensive but this my favourite (top marks to g& m ) again .
Although wasted in creating J Walker my affection for Mortlach has blossomed into a love affair invest today you will not be disappointed
