Mortlach 15 Year Old 2007 (cask 5) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Reviews

A fine whisky indeed!

This is a fantastic whisky with lots of going. I'm renowned for having a terrible sense of smell so please disagree with me if necessary here! Initially getting a hit of peppermint flowed by flapjack on the nose. In the mouth things start of sweet and toffee-like, before dried raisins and baked fruit join in. Then a tobacco quality arrives before a finish of wood and pepper that lingers.

An excellent sipping drop for the colder months.
